KISS AND KENNY CHESNEY HEADLINE AT ROCK'N THE RALLY

In what is destined to become “the night that rocked Sturgis,” legendary superstars KISS will perform at Glencoe Nation’s Rock’n the Rally on August 4^th.

Kenny Chesney, CMA’s Entertainer of the Year the past four years, will appear at Rock’N the Rally on August 6^th.

This year's seventeenth annual motorcycle and scooter commuting demonstration will increase the number of riders on the road, according to Ride to Work, a non-profit advocacy organization. "Riding to work on this day shows the positive value of motorcycles and scooters for transportation. For many people, riding is an economical, efficient and socially responsible form of mobility that saves energy, helps the environment and provides a broad range of other public benefits," states Andy Goldfine, the event organizer. Motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts and rider organizations worldwide encourage their members to ride to work on this day.

Kids & Chrome Foundation announced this week that tickets are now on sale for the annual Kids & Chrome Benefit Dinner & Auction presented by Budweiser during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Transportation Secretary Mary Peters officially rang in May as Motorcycle Safety Month Thursday morning in Washington DC with an official event at the base of the US Capitol, the Motorcycle Riders Foundation reports. Alongside her were the chairs of the US House Motorcycle Safety Caucus Reps Burgess (R-TX) and Giffords (D-AZ).

Senator John McCain is scheduled to appear at the Buffalo Chip on Monday, August 4th, just before performances by Kelly Pickler and Kid Rock. Senator McCain will be participating in the Chip's annual ceremony in honor of American servicemen and veterans.
