Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Receives Grant Money
December 22, 2010
STURGIS, S.D. - The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame has received a grant from the Sturgis Rally Charities Foundation to assist with design and implementation of a new exhibit at the museum.
The Sturgis Rally Charities Foundation grants funds to Sturgis area non-profits.  The funds are collected through the Sturgis Chamber of Commerce motorcycle raffle and through money collected as part of the city’s rally sponsorship program.
“We’re thrilled to have been one of the recipients of these grant funds,” said Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Executive Director Christine Paige Diers.  “We’re developing a new exhibit in the museum’s lower level called The Early Days, and these funds will help us make that exhibit shine.”

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization located on Legendary Main Street in Sturgis.  Open seven days a week, the museum is dedicated to preserving the history of motorcycling and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  Find the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame at 999 Main Street in Sturgis, SD or online at www.sturgismuseum.com.
