The Guard says the 451st Engineer Detachment seven-person firefighting team will mobilize next May. The Sturgis-based unit will first report to Fort McCoy, Wis., for training before heading overseas.

More than 180 soldiers with the Guard's 200th Engineer Company also will mobilize in May.

The 200th is a multi-role bridge company that also will be performing security missions. Soldiers will undergo training at Fort McCoy.

The 200th is headquartered in Pierre, with detachments in Chamberlain and Mobridge.
