The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally may never be the same after Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason kicks off the Legendary Buffalo Chip’s nine-day party on Friday, August 6.
Mason was a founding member of the pivotal rock group Traffic for whom he penned and sang “Feelin’ Alright and “Hole in My Shoe,” both rock classics. “Feelin’ Alright” is among the most covered tunes in rock history.
Sturgis bikers and Sturgis Rally music fans will appreciate the fact that Mason has played with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Fleetwood Mac.
