City of Sturgis helps host South Dakota Governor's annual Tourism Conference

City of Sturgis Rally staff along with the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce participated in the South Dakota Governor's annual Tourism Conference in Pierre the week of January 18, 2010. Sturgis was chosen this year to host the Wednesday night reception, much to the delight of the 400 plus conference attendees.
The reception featured an exciting Mini-Main Street Experience complete with a tattoo parlor, live band Exit 32, new Harley Davidson motorcycles, and an assortment of rally related prize giveaways. The Legendary Buffalo Chip, Black Hills Harley Davidson, Petersen Harley Davidson, Sturgis Motorcycle Museum, and Sturgis Mustang Rally Club helped make the evening one to remember with door prizes, bikes, beer, and video footage of past rally action.
