7th Annual BH Choppers/Maverick Publishing CHARITY RIDE

It´s that time of year again, riding season in the Black Hills.  Once again we will be having our annual Charity Ride for Children.  This year´s event will benefit the Lutheran Social Servies, Canyon Hills Center.  The Canyon Hills Center is a non profit psychiatric residential treatment facility licensed to serve boys and girls ages 10 to 17 who have emotional, behavioral and or educational challenges.

Located in the beautiful Northern Black Hills of South Dakota, Canyon Hills Center offers a specialized education program, extensive outdoor recreation, opportunities for community involvement, and evidence-based programming, including cognitive behavior therapy groups.  As always 100% of the revenue generated by the ride is donated to the charity.

This year´s event will be held on Sunday June 20, 2010.  Every year we have more industry friends attending the event, so we have decided to add an industry member motorcycle ride on Saturday June 19, 2010, as well as a biker style barbeque at the Black Hills Choppers facility.  We have established a corporate room rate at the Spearfish Holiday Inn for attendees, and Black Hills Harley-Davidson is offering a special bike rental rate of $99 per day.  We would love to have our many industry friends participate in this very worthwhile event.

Depending on the weather, we normally raise four to five thousand dollars for the charity.  Riders pay a fee to participate and a silent auction has helped us increase our charitable revenue each year.  If you have a product that you wish to do nate to the auction, your contribution would be greatly appreciated.  We hope you are able to attend this years event.
